Registration for the 2017 SUS Convention is:
STILL OPEN . . . AT THE CONVENTION!
Online registration closed on midnight January 14, 2017. But there is still time to join us on this grand recovery adventure and it’s easy! If you did not registration online, you can still register in person at the conference site starting on Friday afternoon, January 20, 2017.
Full and partial (day passes) on-site registration will be available at the convention hotel beginning on Friday afternoon through early Saturday evening using cash (change will be given in Mexican Pesos ONLY) or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express). You will also be able to register for special add-on events (Saturday Night Dinner, and the Sober Cruise) at the convention site. See you there!

1. Pre-Conference Beachfront Thursday Night Dinner
Jan. 19 at 6 PM: $30
O.K., we can’t guarantee a sunset like this, but we do have a welcome dinner
- Sink your toes in the sand at popular Old Town beachfront restaurant, The El Dorado, (You can click here to download a map with directions from SUS Convention at Westin Marina to El Dorado Restaurant.) and breathe in the beauty of Vallarta’s sunset !
- Treat your taste buds to Mexico’s flavorful traditional and contemporary dishes (your choice of Chicken, Fish, or Vegetarian entree).
- Meet and Greet convention speakers, make new friends, and reunite with your convention buddies.
Reserve your place today! (See “FAQs: When to come and go” for important details). When you are making travel arrangements, if you want to attend this event, we recommend that you arrive no later than noon on Thursday.
The Thursday night Beach Dinner starts at 6 pm at the El Dorado Restaurant in Old Town (Col. Emiliano Zapata), at Playa Los Muertos, Pulpito 102, Col. Emiliano Zapata. Click here to download a map with directions to the El Dorado.
2. Saturday Night Sunset Dinner: $48
An elegant sunset buffet dinner overlooking Banderas Bay. Limited seating. This event always sells out. Sign up now to avoid disappointment. Up to 2 extra seats for the dinner may be purchased for each registrant.
Please note: The Saturday Night Dinner price is for the dinner only. The Saturday night Speaker Meeting and the Saturday Night Ice Cream Social are included in the full registration price or the Saturday day pass and open to everyone.
3. Monday Sober Cruise: $45
Join us on Monday between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM. (See “FAQs > When to come and go” for important details)
You’ll enjoy a fun day cruising Banderas Bay, whale watching and sightseeing with sober friends. The Cruise includes a continental breakfast, beverages on board and lunch ashore at one of Banderas Bay’s most beautiful water-access-only beaches. Drinks are not included in the lunch. Additional snack food is available to buy on the boat. Bring your sunscreen and sun hats and layers of clothing, so you can dress to keep warm if it’s cool, and to keep cool if it’s warm. There may be an opportunity to snorkel, so bring your bathing suits if you like that idea.
There are only about 150 seats on board, and this cruise does sell out, so sign up now. Don’t be left ashore! Extra seats for the cruise may be purchased.
